Ladybugs & Honey Bees Program

Our Ladybugs and Honey Bees Classroom is designed for two and three year olds.

Each day there are projects, games, a circle time and free choice activities to allow children to express themselves while learning and being introduced to materials appropriate for their use. Building a foundation of trust and security is our primary focus in the first few weeks as children adjust to their first school experience.

The adult to child ratio is 1 to 6 and the class consists of 12 children each day.

Students explore different styles of music from around the world as well as learn about the different instruments we can use to make music. All of our classes participate in our Music Program weekly.

Capoeira Program

Through capoeira, students develop skills in self-defense, acrobatics, instrument playing, rhythm, singing, language skills, goal-setting, team-work, leadership, cultural and social cooperation, respect and tradition, as well as personal confidence. In this way, our classes can have a permanent, positive impact on our students’ lives. All of our classes participate in our Capoeira Program weekly.

Sign Language Program

Your older child will have a blast learning American Sign Language (ASL) interactively with singing, dancing, and story time. When an individual signs, language is processed not only in the auditory center of the brain but also the visual and kinesthetic brain centers.  Thus, speech memories are stored and processed in three parts of the brain rather than one.  A signing child can see and feel the words as well as hear them.  When a child signs, she is utilizing different neural modalities and accessing more brain power, so to speak.  Fingerspelling helps older children as they learn to read.  Sign language helps visual learners integrate new information. All of our classes participate in our Sign Language Program weekly.

Soccer Program

Our soccer program focuses on the FUNdamentals and basics of soccer and sports participation. All of our classes participate in our Soccer Program weekly.
